Overview:
Shift: Full-time, days, Monday - Friday, for 80 hours per pay period. There is a holiday and weekend rotation.
We are seeking a compassionate, dependable, and motivated Physical Therapy Technician to support our inpatient rehabilitation team. The Physical Therapy Technician assists licensed Physical Therapists and Physical Therapist Assistants in providing high-quality care to hospitalized patients recovering from illness, injury, surgery, or other medical conditions. This role helps ensure a safe, efficient, and positive rehabilitation experience while maintaining equipment, preparing treatment areas, and assisting with patient mobility activities.

Responsibilities:
- Assist physical therapists with patient treatment sessions under direct supervision.
- Prepare patients and treatment areas for therapy interventions.
- Transport patients safely to and from therapy sessions.
- Assist with transfers, ambulation, positioning, and mobility activities as directed by licensed staff.
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain therapy equipment and treatment areas.
- Monitor and report patient responses, concerns, or changes in condition to therapy staff.
- Maintain adequate supplies and equipment inventory.
- Document assigned non-clinical activities according to department procedures.
- Support interdisciplinary teamwork to promote patient recovery and discharge goals.
- Adhere to hospital safety, infection control, and patient confidentiality policies.
Qualifications:
Education:
- High School Diploma or GED
Experience:
- Prior Physical Therapy Tech experience preferred, but not required. There will be on-the-job training.
