The incumbent shall maintain responsibility for the day to day organization and administration of a patient care center, contractual service, or management services as may be developed by the corporation and shall be responsible to the regional POD Director or a member of the corporate management team as appointed by the Chief Executive Officer. Additionally, the incumbent provides Physical Therapy evaluation and treatment utilizing advanced clinical skills as dictated by the needs of the facility.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Budgets: Participate in capital and operating budget preparation; monitor and analyze monthly variances. • Patient Scheduling: Ensure productivity standards while maintaining quality patient care. • Clinical Documentation: Maintain accurate records for assessments, treatments, and discharge summaries; co-sign PTA notes biweekly. • Direct Patient Care: Perform evaluations, develop and adjust care plans, and supervise PTAs for all age groups. • Operational Oversight: Handle daily staffing, scheduling, time-off approvals, and assist in hiring processes. • Program & Staff Development: Lead orientation, mentorship, and professional growth initiatives for facility staff. • Communication & Collaboration: Update referring physicians and healthcare team on patient status; provide home instructions when needed. • Leadership Support: Serve as acting Regional Director or program coordinator when required; assist with HR functions and performance management. • Marketing & Community Engagement: Develop business plans and participate in outreach activities like health fairs and community events. • Compliance & Professional Growth: Maintain licensure through continuing education and uphold organizational directives and standards.

Education and Experience:

Graduate of an accredited program approved by the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA). Minimum of 3 years clinical experience preferred. Demonstrated clinical expertise in a specialty area preferred. Marketing experience and ability preferred. Six months experience with the Rehabilitation Institute, preferred. Two or more years supervisory/management experience in a health care setting preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Direct Access Physical Therapist (DAPT license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, preferred in outpatient settings. • Act 34 Criminal Clearance, Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance, Act 73 - FBI, CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire. • Basic Life Support (BLS) or Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) • Physical Therapist (PT) • Act 33 with renewal • Act 34 with renewal • Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
