Job Summary and Qualifications

The Director of Physical Therapy ensures high quality, patient-centered care through oversight of the overall function and staffing of the unit(s)/department(s) in addition to forecasting, planning, and budget monitoring. The Director fosters a culture of accountability and collaboration and supports the development and implementation of strategies, policies, and procedures in support of facility objectives.​​​

What you will do in this role:

• Responsible for directing all aspects of Physical Medicine (PT, OT, Speech): staffing, management, education, budget
• Evaluate patient and establish plan of care.
• Document all essential information regarding patient.
• Ensure appropriate care by reviewing plan of care and adjusting accordingly
• Supervise patient care assigned to Rehab Services.
• Provide clinical education development to all staff
• Additional administrative responsibilities as assigned.
• Demonstrate knowledge of human growth and development, assessment, range of treatment, and care of patients appropriate to the ages of patients served.

What qualifications you will need:

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist, Occupational Therapist, or Speech Therapist required.
• 3-5 years of related experience required.
• Current BLS certification required.
