In this role:You will be responsible for front-line department management and will demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to develop consistent, safe, compassionate standards of care.You will practice effective financial planning and budget management skills to ensure sound financial operations of the department.You will serve as a clinical resource for staff and will coordinate functions with physicians and other departments of the hospital in a spirit that fosters positive working relationships.You will evaluate effectiveness of care for each program within the department and make needed programmatic changes as needed.You will anticipate, recognize, and understand internal and external customer needs and respond to those needs with effective communication and confidentiality.You will work on staffing needs and retention.
