Overview
Treats patients of all ages who suffered loss of upper, lower extremities function, balance, endurance, coordination or present with pain, or wounds/burns due to illnesses, trauma or surgery. This position follows the treatment plan designed by the physical therapist, reports any changes or findings directly to the physical therapist, and works with the patient and family members to achieve the highest possible level of independence.
Responsibilities
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES(*Essential Functions) Documents assessments and interventions accurately and timely. Educates patients and families. Follows the treatment plan designed by the Physical Therapist. Participates in multi-disciplinary meetings and case reviews.
