Job Title: Local Travel Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Fargo, North Dakota
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule: Full Time
Weekly Compensation: Up to $1,800/week based on experience
Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) Job Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists with implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, gait training, mobility assistance, and rehabilitation treatments
- Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising therapists
- Accurately document treatments, patient responses, and progress notes
- Educate patients and family members on therapy techniques and recovery plans
- Maintain compliance with facility standards, state regulations, and patient safety guidelines
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure positive patient outcomes
- Utilize rehabilitation equipment and modalities safely and effectively
- Deliver compassionate, patient-focused care in a fast-paced clinical environment
Education & Certification Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Active North Dakota PTA license or compact eligibility
- Current CPR/BLS certification preferred
- Minimum of one year of PTA experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical settings and patient populations
- Excellent time management and documentation abilities
