We are seeking a motivated and experienced Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) or Athletic trainer to join our team at a peaceful and new orthopedic physical therapy clinic located in the 33136 zip code in a brand new building. This is a part-time position with the opportunity to transition to full-time if they would like, based on clinic needs and employee preference. They may also come in as a contractor if they'd like. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who can work independently, and is comfortable with a high degree of autonomy in their role. Hours can be chosen by PTA/AT as long as it stays consistent for the most part through the year.

Responsibilities
Assist the supervising Physical Therapist in implementing treatment plans for patients with a variety of orthopedic conditions.
Educate patients on proper exercise techniques and home exercise programs.
Perform manual therapy techniques as prescribed by the Physical Therapist.
Monitor and document patient progress, adapting treatment plans under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is properly sanitized.
Communicate effectively with patients, the supervising Physical Therapist, and administrative staff.
Qualifications
Current and valid PTA license/AT License in the state of Florida.
A minimum of one (1) year of experience as a PTA/AT, preferably in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques.
Strong ability to work independently and manage a caseload with minimal supervision.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
