We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support our therapists and help patients achieve their rehabilitation and wellness goals. Job Duties Include:
•              Assisting physical therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
•              Administering prescribed therapeutic exercises and modalities under the direction of a licensed physical therapist.
•              Monitoring patient progress and communicating any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist.
•              Educating patients and their families on home exercise programs and strategies for improving mobility and reducing pain.
•              Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with clinic policies and state regulations.
•              Ensuring patient safety and comfort during therapy sessions.
•              Assisting with the setup and maintenance of therapeutic equipment, treatment areas, and around the clinic.
•              Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
•              Participating in mentorship and continuing education opportunities to further clinical skills.
 
Qualifications:
•              Must be a licensed PTA in North Carolina, maintain current licensure and provide license annually.
•              Must be able to lift, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, stoop, squat, bend and reach using good body mechanics.
•              Must practice and abide by HIPAA and State Privacy regulations.
•              Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
•              Previous outpatient physical therapy experience (preferred, but not required).
