Physical Therapist

This is an opportunity for a Physical Therapist to join a rehabilitation and nursing center in Westwood, NJ, providing critical care and treatment within a sub-acute rehabilitation, wound care, and long-term care environment.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Flexible
• Schedule: Monday to Friday with one weekend rotation
• Hours: Flexible; 40-45 minute therapy sessions
• Setting: Rehabilitation and nursing center

Responsibilities:

The Physical Therapist will be responsible for:

• Providing and directing rehabilitation care in accordance with all standards
• Evaluating resident needs and establishing treatment plans
• Coordinating treatment plans with staff and other disciplines
• Participating in resident screening and delivering feedback on clinical issues
• Ensuring effective management of treatments and documentation to meet requirements

Qualifications:

• Master's degree in Physical Therapy
• Current and Active Physical Therapist license in NJ
• Experience in older adult rehabilitation preferred
• Ability to travel between facilities
• Knowledge of healthcare regulatory guidelines
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Adaptability and problem-solving skills
• Organizational skills

Desired Skills:

• 2+ years of experience in physical therapy
• Specialty certifications in rehabilitation
• Experience with electronic medical records
• Interpersonal communication skills
