Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Minimum Requirements

• Bachelor's, Master's or Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy from accredited schools approved by the APTA
• Active State License is Required to Start the Assignment
• BLS Certification May Be Required from AHA or ARC
• 2+ years’ experience required
• Inpatient & outpatient experience required
• Current NM licensure required
• Pending NM state licensure approved, must be included with submission

Assignment Details

• Mon-Thurs, 8a-6pm
• Fri, 8a-12p
• Work at hospital one Saturday per month

Location Highlights

Carlsbad, New Mexico offers access to notable outdoor destinations and a practical base for hospital-based travel work. Carlsbad Caverns National Park is about 20 miles southwest of the city, and Living Desert Zoo and Gardens State Park sits on the north side of Carlsbad with desert trails and regional wildlife exhibits. The Pecos River runs through town with the Carlsbad Water Park and Riverwalk Recreation Center nearby, while Guadalupe Mountains National Park is roughly 55 miles south for hiking and scenic drives. Downtown Carlsbad includes the Pecos Riverwalk, local dining, and easy road access via US-62/180 and NM-285, which supports commuting within southeastern New Mexico.
