Required Skills:
- Bachelor of Science or higher in Physical Therapy
- Valid NYS License or eligibility for licensure
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
- Ability to evaluate patient needs, develop treatment plans, and implement therapeutic programs
- Strong collaborative skills to work effectively with healthcare professionals and patients
- Excellent note-taking and documentation skills
- Ability to attend clinics, participate in rounds, and deliver patient education
- Successful completion of pre-employment health clearance
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience training staff or students
- Background in program development
- Previous involvement in educational initiatives or community outreach
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelors degree in Physical Therapy; advanced degrees preferred
- At least 2 years of clinical experience in outpatient or hospital settings
- Prior experience as a clinical instructor or trainer is advantageous
Other Requirements:
- Availability to work day shifts (8-hour shifts)
- Ability to travel for work-related duties when necessary
- Active licensure and certification in good standing
- Commitment to ongoing professional development
