Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Discover a fulfilling contract opportunity as a part-time Physical Therapist working with students in a supportive educational setting. This position offers a balanced schedule of two 8-hour days per week, starting August 12th and continuing through June 4th. You'll have the chance to make a positive impact on children's physical development during the school year.

Key Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Physical Therapy licensure in California and compliance with state requirements
  • Experience in a school-based or pediatric clinical setting preferred
  • Strong communication abilities to collaborate with educators, students, and families
  • Capable of developing individualized treatment plans and documenting progress
  • Adaptable, organized, and enthusiastic about working in a dynamic school environment

Role Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored physical therapy services to students, supporting their gross motor and functional mobility goals
  • Conduct assessments, design and implement intervention strategies, and monitor progress
  • Consult and collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to integrate physical therapy into the academic experience
  • Maintain accurate records, progress notes, and required documentation
  • Participate in IEP meetings as needed, contributing expertise to help students achieve their fullest potential
