Schedule: Start times between 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM | Rotating weekends required
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive Salary Range:
- $35.77/hr – Entry Level/New Graduate
- $44.71/hr – Mid-Level (10 Years Experience)
- $49.18/hr – Experienced (16+ Years)
- Weekend Differential: Additional $3/hr for Saturday & Sunday shifts
- Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
Position Overview
A leading acute care hospital and Level II Trauma Center in Sanford, Florida is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) to join its rehabilitation team. This role offers the opportunity to provide high-quality, patient-centered therapy services while collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to support positive patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about rehabilitation, patient education, and delivering individualized treatment plans across a diverse patient population.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform evaluations and treatment interventions within the Physical Therapy scope of practice
- Assess patient therapeutic and functional status
- Develop and implement individualized rehabilitation care plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises and treatment programs
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers regarding therapy plans and equipment use
- Coordinate patient caseloads and daily treatment assignments
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to support recovery goals
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and therapy records
Requirements
- Licensed Physical Therapist (LPT) required
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- BLS Certification required within 30 days of employment
- Open to all experience levels, including new graduates
