Physical Therapist Job Summary
Responsible and accountable for completing a physical therapy evaluation for each referred patient and for creating and implementing a physical therapy care plan based on the completed evaluation to restore a patients function, alleviate pain, and prevent disability. Understands and adheres to Baxter Health standards as they appear in Healthstream Policy Manager. Required to work with the director of Rehab Services, regularly, to carry out, initiate, and/or implement best practices for the Baxter Health Rehab Services Department. Job Requirements
Education: Graduate of and degree holder from a Physical Therapy Education Program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education
Preferred experience: 12 to 18 months related experience, excluding clinical affiliations required to complete a degree
Certifications: Current Arkansas PT license in good standing required Current CPR certification Preferred Education: Masters or DPT Degree

Work Environment
Patient care setting: Acute care hospital. Occasional outpatient setting, as needed. There is potential risk for exposure to communicable diseases and blood or other body fluids.
Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is an hourly position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Direct patient care staff: Wednesday and Saturday, 10-hour acute care shifts.
