The Position
Napa County is currently recruiting to fill one Physical Therapist (PT) vacancy within the Public Health Services Division (PHS) of the Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA).
The Physical Therapist provides therapy for children and youth with disabilities receiving services through the Medical Therapy Program (MTP). They work in partnership with the patient, parents/guardians, and the Medical Therapy team. This role is essential in ensuring a welcoming, accessible, and supportive physical and occupational clinical therapy environment. Key responsibilities include:

There is currently one regular full-time vacancy. The list established by this recruitment may be used to fill future full-time, part-time, limited term, and extra help vacancies up to one year. Bilingual (Spanish) skills preferred but not required.

To qualify for this classification, an individual must possess any combination of experience and education that would likely produce the required knowledge and abilities. A desirable combination is:
Experience:

Education:
Graduate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university
License or Certificate:*
Possession of a valid license as a Physical Therapist issued by the Physical Therapy Board of California.
OR
Physical Therapist License Applicant (PTLA) status: application for licensure has been filed and reviewed by the Physical Therapy Board of California. Licensure must be complete within 6 months of hire date. Must be able to provide proof that licensure has been filed and reviewed by the Physical Therapy Board of California.
Possession of a valid California Drivers License issued by the State Department of Motor Vehicles.

SALARY -
Salaries are based on a five-step range. Appointments are usually made at the beginning step with advances occurring at six months and the completion of each year thereafter. Salary rates are reviewed annually.
