Physical Therapist Director
Job Description
We are hiring a full-time Physical Therapist Director for an outpatient clinic in Winchester, VA.
This role is ideal for a physical therapist who values quality patient care, thoughtful treatment planning, and the opportunity to take on a leadership role in a growing clinic. You will provide one-on-one care, manage a varied outpatient caseload, and help patients make steady progress through hands-on treatment, active rehab, and clear patient education.
You will also help support the clinic’s growth by building trust with patients, referral sources, and the local community.
Schedule
Monday-Friday
9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Full-time, 40 hours per week
Patient Volume
Approximately 12 patient visits per 8-hour day at full caseload.
Responsibilities
- Provide one-on-one physical therapy care
- Evaluate and treat a varied outpatient caseload
- Create individualized treatment plans
- Treat athletes, children, adults, active patients, and medical referrals
- Use manual therapy, strengthening, mobility work, and patient education
- Perform techniques such as mobilization, manipulation, cupping, soft tissue work, instrument-assisted massage, and dry needling when appropriate
- Document care accurately in Athena Health
- Help grow the clinic through strong patient care and local outreach
- Serve as the clinical leader for the location
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Active Physical Therapist license required
- Outpatient physical therapy experience preferred
- Strong hands-on treatment and clinical reasoning skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Interest in manual therapy and active rehab
- Strong communication and patient care skills
