Physical Therapist Director
About This Opportunity
This full-time Physical Therapist Director role is based in Middletown, VA and offers a salary range of $90,000-$120,000 per year. The schedule is Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM.
The clinic is looking for a Physical Therapist who can lead with clinical skill, good communication, and a thoughtful approach to patient care. You will help patients work toward better movement, reduced pain, stronger function, and greater independence in their daily lives.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Evaluating new patients and creating treatment plans
- Providing direct outpatient physical therapy services
- Leading daily clinical activities within the clinic
- Supporting therapists and staff with care planning questions
- Reviewing progress notes, care plans, and discharge documentation
- Tracking patient progress and updating treatment plans as needed
- Helping maintain clinic policies, care standards, and compliance
- Supporting a respectful and organized clinic environment
Requirements
- Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Active Virginia Physical Therapist license or eligibility to obtain one
- Outpatient physical therapy experience required
- Previous leadership, supervisory, or clinic management experience preferred
- Strong clinical judgment and documentation skills
- Clear communication skills and a steady leadership style
