Position: Industrial Specialist
Work Setting: On-Site Industrial environment
Location: York, PA
Shift: Monday – Thursday 8am – 5:30pm, Friday 7am – 11am
Position Summary:
Unify Health Services is seeking an Athletic Trainer,Physical Therapist Assistant, or an OccupationalTherapist Assistant to support onsite occupational health and wellness programs. This role focuses on injury prevention, ergonomic training, and post-injury support within an industrial setting.
This is a hands-on role ideal for licensed clinicians who enjoy working directly with employees outside of a traditional clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct post-offer employment testing (POET/PAT) and physical demand analysis.
- Implement injury prevention programs, including stretching, job coaching, and ergonomics.
- Provide first aid and musculoskeletal support within OSHA guidelines.
- Perform ergonomic assessments and promote safe work practices.
- Support return-to-work and transitional duty programs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and program tracking.
- Communicate with employees, supervisors, and client stakeholders.
- Track and report program metrics weekly.
Qualifications:
- Active Licensure in the state of employment(required).
- Valid BLS and CPR certifications (required)
- Ability to build trusting relationships with industrial athletes and support their prevention needs.
Preferred:
- 2+ years of experience in industrial or occupational health.
- Experience with workers’ compensation or industrial healthcare programs, knowledge with OSHA first aid guidelines a plus.
Physical Demands:
- Frequent walking sitting, and computer use.
- Occasional lifting to 50 lbs.
- Active movement throughout the industrial works areas
