Job Overview
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join an outpatient therapy team in Winterset, Iowa.

The team provides individualized therapy services and focuses on strong communication, patient-centered treatment plans, and helping patients reach their functional goals.
Responsibilities
- Assist the supervising Physical Therapist with patient care and treatment plans.
- Provide direct treatment to patients according to the established plan of care.
- Collect assessment data as directed by the Physical Therapist.
- Assist with patient screens under the direction of the supervising therapist.
- Educate and train patients, caregivers, and families based on the care plan.
- Participate in the clinical team process and support therapy program development.
- Prepare treatment materials and assist with documentation or clerical duties as needed.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the therapy team.
Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Physical Therapist Assistant from an APTA-accredited program.
- Active Iowa PTA license or eligibility for licensure.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good time management, organization, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with therapists, patients, caregivers, and clinical staff.
