About the Opportunity
Global Service Resources is seeking skilled Physical Therapist Assistants (PTAs) to support both the Inpatient and Outpatient Physical Therapy departments at Harbor?UCLA Medical Center, a major Los Angeles County hospital. This full?time contract role is ideal for PTAs who enjoy a dynamic clinical environment and are committed to delivering high?quality patient care.
Schedule: MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Contract: 13?week assignment with a high possibility of extension
Pay Rate: $35 $40 per hour
Key Responsibilities
- Provide therapeutic treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist
- Assist with patient mobility, strengthening, and functional training
- Support PTs with evaluations, treatment planning, and progress documentation
- Deliver care in Inpatient and/or Outpatient settings based on department needs
- Educate patients and families on exercises, safety, and rehabilitation goals
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support patient recovery
Qualifications
- Active California PTA license
- Current BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Experience in hospital, inpatient, outpatient, or rehab settings preferred
- Ability to work full?time, MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
- Strong communication, teamwork, and patient?care skills
Compensation & Benefits
- Hourly Pay: $35$40/hr (based on experience)
