Physical Therapist Assistant - Sunrise Manor

Sunrise Manor Center for Nursing and Rehab is currently recruiting for an IN-HOUSE Part-Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for their skilled nursing facility located in Bay Shore, NY. Ideal candidates will have experience working in a skilled nursing environment.

Sunrise Manor is an intimate 84-bed Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, located at 1325 Brentwood Rd, Bayshore, NY 11706.
1099 employer (preferred).

Responsibilities:

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist to support patients with temporary or long-term disabilities

• Assist in relieving pain, restoring or improving function, and promoting healing

• Ensure all treatments are delivered in accordance with the established plan of care

• Provide quality, personalized, and evidence-based care to patients with diverse needs

• Support interventions that improve patients’ motion and mobility in a cost-effective manner

• Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers as directed by the Physical Therapist

• Monitor and report patient responses to treatment interventions

• Complete required documentation in accordance with company policy and state/federal regulations
