    A well-established senior living community in Shelbyville, Kentucky is seeking an enthusiastic and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join its in-house therapy team.

    This is an excellent opportunity for a Physical Therapist Assistant who is passionate about helping seniors regain mobility, build confidence, and maintain their independence while making a meaningful difference in residents' lives every day.

    Position Responsibilities

    • Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist
    • Assist residents in improving strength, balance, mobility, endurance, and functional independence
    • Monitor resident progress and communicate updates to the supervising Physical Therapist
    • Accurately document treatments and resident responses
    • Encourage and motivate residents throughout their rehabilitation journey
    • Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and interdisciplinary team members
    • Promote safe, compassionate, and resident-centered care
    Qualifications

    • Active Kentucky Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Positive, team-oriented attitude
    • Passion for serving the senior population
    • Long-term care or senior living experience preferred, but not required
