Job Summary:
Our client is seeking a dedicated and licensed Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join their team and help patients improve their mobility, strength, and quality of life. Under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, you will assist in implementing treatment plans, guide patients through therapeutic exercises, and ensure compassionate, high-quality care throughout their recovery journey.
Job Responsibilities:- Implement selected components of physical therapy treatment plans with technical skill and precision.
- Instruct and counsel patients on safe and effective exercise techniques.
- Exhibit empathy and adjust care approaches based on each patient’s individual needs.
- Monitor patient progress, recommend treatment adjustments, and ensure patient safety and comfort.
- Apply current research-based practices to reduce symptoms, restore function, and prevent injury.
- Collect data, measure patient performance, and document findings in medical records.
- Collaborate in evaluating patient status and providing feedback on treatment effectiveness.
- Adhere to ethical, legal, and professional standards of care.
- Stay informed on the latest practices to maintain clinical competence.
Qualifications:- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license (required).
- Previous experience in a rehabilitation medical setting (preferred).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with patients and healthcare teams.
