Schedule: Day Shift | 8-Hour Shifts | Approximately 40 Hours/Week

Compensation

• $38.50/hr – $43.50/hr (Based on Experience)
• Travel stipends available for eligible candidates

Position Overview

A leading outpatient rehabilitation facility in Fort Washington, MD is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 13-week contract assignment. The PTA will work closely with licensed Physical Therapists to help patients improve mobility, manage pain, and recover from injuries in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in carrying out individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and treatment modalities
• Monitor patient progress and communicate updates to supervising therapists
• Educate patients on recovery techniques and home exercise programs
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
• Ensure a positive and supportive patient experience throughout treatment

Requirements

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license in the State of Maryland
• Previous outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
• Strong understanding of physical therapy procedures and patient care techniques
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment
