Physical Therapist Assistant
Location: Normandy Park, WA near Seattle, WA
Work Setting: Private Physical Therapy Office
Position: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM
Patient Volume: 1 patient per hour
Salary: $70,000-$80,000 per year plus full benefits
Position Summary
A private physical therapy office in the Normandy Park area is looking for a full-time Physical Therapist Assistant to join its team. This role focuses on helping patients complete treatment sessions safely and effectively while supporting the Physical Therapist’s overall care plan. You will spend your day working directly with patients, reinforcing proper movement, encouraging progress, and helping each person stay on track with recovery goals.
Responsibilities
- Provide treatment interventions under the direction of the Physical Therapist
- Instruct patients in exercises, movement techniques, and therapy routines
- Observe patient response to treatment and communicate updates to the therapist
- Support patients with mobility training and therapeutic activities
- Complete daily documentation with accuracy and consistency
- Prepare and maintain treatment areas and therapy equipment
- Contribute to a smooth and professional patient experience
Requirements
- Associate’s Degree in Physical Therapy Assistant
- Active Washington PTA license, or eligibility to obtain licensure in Washington
- Strong communication and patient care skills
- Ability to follow a Physical Therapist’s plan of care accurately
- Organized, professional, and comfortable working in a private outpatient setting
