Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a dynamic rehabilitation team in Conyers, Georgia. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to help patients recover mobility, improve strength, manage pain, and regain independence following injury, illness, or surgery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
  • Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, gait training, and functional activities
  • Monitor patient progress and report responses to treatment
  • Educate patients and families on exercise techniques and safety precautions
  • Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation
  • Prepare treatment areas and therapy equipment
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies, healthcare regulations, and safety standards
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to support optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
  • Active Georgia PTA license required
  • Current BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent PTA experience preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical environment

  • Experience in outpatient, rehabilitation, or skilled nursing settings
  • Strong patient care and documentation abilities
  • Team-oriented mindset with excellent organizational skills
