Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join a dynamic rehabilitation team in Lithonia, GA. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care aimed at improving mobility, strength, and overall functional independence.

This is a 14-week contract assignment offering an excellent opportunity to gain diverse clinical experience in a supportive and patient-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement individualized treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment responses accurately
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and recovery techniques
• Maintain compliance with clinical protocols, safety standards, and facility policies
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Support patients in regaining independence in daily living activities

Required Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current PTA licensure in the state of Georgia (or eligibility to obtain)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced clinical setting
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
