Position Overview

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 14-week contract assignment in Grayson, GA. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
• Support patients in improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment responses accurately
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety techniques
• Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant therapy environment
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Current PTA licensure in the state of Georgia (or eligibility)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
• Prior clinical or rehab experience preferred
