Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Location: Austin, TX
Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift & Schedule:

• 36 Hours Guaranteed (up to 40 hours/week based on patient volume)
• Schedule may vary based on clinic needs
• Overtime must be approved by the director

Job Summary: We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to support patient care in an outpatient orthopedic setting. The role involves assisting Physical Therapists in delivering treatment plans and ensuring patients receive high-quality rehabilitative care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist Physical Therapists in implementing treatment plans
• Provide therapeutic exercises and modalities to patients
• Monitor patient progress and report updates to supervising therapist
• Educate patients on exercises and recovery techniques
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Ensure a safe and efficient treatment environment

Patient Population:

• Outpatient orthopedic conditions

Productivity Expectations:

• Approximately 60 patient visits per week
• Treat 12–14 patients per day
• Double-booking of follow-up visits expected

Requirements:

• Outpatient experience preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to manage a high patient volume efficiently

Certifications & Licensure:

• Active PTA License (State of Texas or eligible)
• BLS Certification (preferred)
