Villages of Lake Highlands is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to lead our growing outpatient therapy program. This is a full-time salaried leadership opportunity for a clinician who is passionate about delivering exceptional patient care while helping oversee the daily operations and continued growth of our outpatient rehabilitation services.

Position Summary
The Outpatient Therapy Manager will provide skilled therapy services while assisting with the coordination and daily oversight of the outpatient therapy program. This individual will work closely with the Director of Rehabilitation, interdisciplinary team members, physicians, patients, and families to ensure high-quality care, operational efficiency, and positive patient outcomes.
Essential Responsibilities
- Provide skilled physical therapy services in accordance with physician orders and established plans of care.
- Evaluate patient progress and communicate treatment updates with the interdisciplinary team.
- Assist in coordinating the day-to-day operations of the outpatient therapy program.
- Promote efficient scheduling and continuity of patient care.
- Support quality assurance initiatives and maintain compliance with company policies and state and federal regulations.
- Ensure accurate and timely electronic documentation.
- Educate patients, families, and caregivers on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and discharge recommendations.
- Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, and other therapy disciplines to maximize patient outcomes.
- Mentor and support therapy staff while promoting a positive team culture.
- Attend department meetings and participate in performance improvement initiatives as directed by the Director of Rehabilitation.
Qualifications
- Current Texas license as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in good standing.
- Previous outpatient and/or skilled nursing experience preferred.
- Leadership or supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of current rehabilitation practices and evidence-based treatment techniques.
- Experience with Net Health electronic documentation system is preferred.
