Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Inpatient & Outpatient Rehab
Location: Juneau, AK

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Inpatient & Outpatient Rehab for an exciting opportunity in Juneau, AK.

Responsibilities

  • Implement treatment plans established by Physical Therapists
  • Provide therapy interventions to patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
  • Document treatment sessions, patient responses, and progress notes
  • Assist with mobility training, adaptive equipment fitting, and functional exercises
  • Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care coordination
  • Support discharge planning and home exercise program education
  • Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols
  • Maintain therapy equipment, supplies, and treatment spaces
  • Collaborate with providers, nurses, and rehabilitation team members
  • Provide patient and caregiver education for home-based recovery

Requirements

  • Associate Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required
  • Active PTA license required
  • BLS certification required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Acute care or outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
  • Experience with adaptive equipment and mobility training preferred
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and movement science
  • Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
  • Documentation and EMR proficiency
  • Ability to work in physically demanding clinical environments
