Physical Therapist Assistant

The Staff Pad has partnered with a well -known hospital in Helene, MT and we are seeking to hire a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant to join a collaborative and patient -focused rehabilitation team dedicated to helping individuals regain strength, mobility, and independence.<\/span><\/span>

As a Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA), you will work closely with licensed physical therapists to deliver high -quality therapeutic treatments that restore function, improve quality of life, and support patients through every stage of recovery.<\/span><\/span>

What You’ll Do<\/span><\/span>

Key Responsibilities<\/span><\/span>
<\/p>

• Administer physical therapy treatments and therapy modalities under the direction of a licensed physical therapist<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Support patients in regaining mobility, strength, function, and independence following injury, illness, or disability<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Educate and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey to reach their maximum performance while helping them adapt to physical limitations<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Coordinate, delegate, and oversee responsibilities assigned to physical therapy technicians<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation, treatment records, and charge entry<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Participate in departmental operations, performance improvement projects, and Continuous Quality Improvement (CQI) initiatives<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Contribute to budget planning and support department goals by maintaining cost -effective practices<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Ensure compliance with infection prevention standards, safety protocols, equipment training, and fire safety procedures<\/span><\/span>
  <\/li>
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide outstanding patient -centered care<\/span><\/span>

  What We Are Looking For<\/span><\/span>
  <\/p>

  Education, Knowledge and Experience<\/span><\/span>
  <\/p>

  • Graduate of an approved school for Physical Therapy Assistants<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • 3 or more years of previous experience in all aspects of physical therapy as an assistant<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Strong clinical and patient care skills with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative healthcare environment<\/span><\/span>
    <\/span><\/li>
  • Committed to delivering compassionate, patient -centered care and supporting positive rehabilitation outcomes<\/span><\/span>

    Licensures and Certifications<\/span><\/span>

    • Current State Physical Therapy Assistant Licensure required<\/span><\/span>

    • Current BCLS (CPR) certification required<\/span><\/span><\/span>
