Physical Therapist Assistant, FT

The Grove at Carvalho is looking for full time PTA's to join our dynamic, cutting edge Rehab department. 

           $3,000 SIGN ON BONUS for FULLTIME!!!

Job responsibilities:

§  Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant Program or Certification by the University of the State of MA

§  MA Licensure.

§  Performs Physical Therapy treatments as designated by the licensed Physical Therapist.

§  Assists the Physical Therapist in determining treatment priorities, identifying goals and selecting appropriate treatment techniques. Establishes rapport and maintains professionalism in administering treatment to patients.

§  Records patient’s modality treatments daily.

§  Documents on CCP, as indicated.

§  Assist with chart audits as directed.

§  Writes progress notes as appropriate and reviews notes and goals with the Physical Therapist.
