How You Will Make a Difference
As a Physical Therapist on our Acute Care team, you will:
Perform evidence-based physical therapy evaluations and interventions across a variety of inpatient units, including intensive care and specialty care settings.
Develop individualized treatment plans that promote mobility, safety, function, and recovery.
Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, case managers, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
Educate patients and caregivers on mobility strategies, fall prevention, equipment recommendations, and discharge planning.
Assess patient progress and adjust treatment plans based on clinical presentation and goals.
Document evaluations, interventions, and outcomes in accordance with hospital and regulatory standards.
Contribute to a culture of collaboration, learning, and clinical excellence.
