Position: Physical-Technical Security Manager

HLM Associates is currently seeking a Physical-Technical Security Manager. This is a full-time position with benefits.
The selected candidate will function as a Subject Matter Expert to numerous clients, architects, and general contractors in the design, construction, and accreditation of classified workspaces. ICD 705 Certification and experience required.
Minimum Qualifications
MUST be a U.S. Citizen
MUST possess and maintain a U.S. TOP SECRET Personnel Security Clearance, SCI Access Eligibility, and Counterintelligence Polygraph
Associate degree (or applicable experience)
Experience with design build and Security in Depth (SID) for Corporate or Campus space
Effective interpersonal skills, to include working well with groups made up of disparate organizations and various grade levels; take direction; function independently
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Full competency with use of Microsoft Office Suite
Present a clean, neat, and professional appearance
Be able to communicate in English
Have no physical / medical limitations related to the work assigned
Ability to travel:
70% travel throughout Northern Virginia
30% travel to other domestic locations
Be reliable and deliver quality results with limited supervision
Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated ICD 705 Subject Matter Expertise
Minimum of 5 years of applicable Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency (DCSA) / Intelligence Community experience (e.g., NRO, DIA, CIA, etc.) in the design, build, documentation, and accreditation of classified facilities, including:
Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs)
Special Access Program Facilities (SAPFs)
Experience working with construction supervisors and general contractors
Experience reviewing and approving RFIs and design submittals
Ability to navigate Procore or Bluebeam programs
Center for Development of Security Excellence (CDSE) Security Training, Education and Professionalization Portal (STEPP) course qualifications
Experience with DoD installation access control policy, guidance, procedures, and systems
Knowledge of security principles related to:
Access control
Physical and electronic security systems
Security requirements
Server-based systems integration
Knowledge of basic troubleshooting fundamentals for logical and physical systems
Ability to track equipment status for action at the installation level
