POSITION OVERVIEW
The Solutions Designer applies theories and principles of system design and engineering to develop solutions for the customers at the point of sale and/or installation of security technologies. Works Tech Electronics' customer account teams to develop solutions for specific customers and/or specific markets or channels and then oversees the proper implementation of these solutions during the installation phase.
Attends various national trade and manufacturer conferences as directed by supervisor to maintain knowledge of technology in our industry and how these technologies provide business solutions for our customers; maintains knowledge on applicable codes, legislative changes and industry trends that impact their assigned technology; responsible for reviewing with each office, channel, market and department managers that support their technology.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering or related field (or equivalent work experience) is required
Five or more years of professional experience designing technology solutions.
