The California Childrens Services (CCS) section of the Department of Public Health (DPH) is seeking Occupational and Physical Therapists. Therapists will be responsible for planning, implementing, and conducting individual therapy programs for the physical rehabilitation of children.
Duties:
• Engage in the provision of team-centered care, to include consulting with various professional agencies • Plan and implement therapy programs for children with neurological and/or orthopedic impairments after analysis of a childs medical history under direction of a physician • Evaluate patients progress and develop treatment changes • Administer tests to determine functional ability, physical limitations, rehabilitation potential, and equipment needs • Determine durable medical equipment needs and provide instruction regarding appropriate usage • Plan and provide instruction on home and classroom programs and durable medical equipment to parents and teachers • Plan and direct group activities
Assignment Location
Assignment location for Pediatric Rehabilitation Therapists exists throughout San Bernardino County. Immediate vacancies exist within Colton, Fontana, and Hesperia. The eligible list established may be used to fill current and future vacancies across multiple locations. Indicate on your application all locations you are willing to accept employment.

Desired Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess one (1) or more years of full-time equivalent experience as a licensed Physical or Occupational Therapist.
Applicants fluent in American Sign Language, Arabic, Korean, Mandarin, Spanish, and/or Vietnamese are strongly encouraged to apply. Additional compensation is associated with positions requiring the use of bilingual skills. Testing of bilingual skills may be required to receive additional compensation.

PT/OT Experience
Indicate the amount of full-time equivalent experience you possess as a licensed Physical Therapist (PT) or licensed Occupational Therapist (OT). Note: Experience must be clearly detailed in the Work Experience section of your application in order to be evaluated. Experience prior to obtaining your license (work performed as an intern), must be clearly differentiated from work experience as a licensed PT/OT by indicating internship in the Work Experience section of your application.
Part-Time Availability
