NewGen Logistics, LLC, a world-class logistics brokerage, seeks highly motivated and organized individuals to join our day shift Dispatch team. This position includes one weekend day off, competitive pay, and benefits.
As a Phone and Email Clerk, you will play a critical role in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of fuel trucks to our customers in the fuel industry. You will coordinate logistics, communicate with drivers and customers, and maintain accurate records.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities: A Phone and Email Clerk must be highly detailed and work well under pressure to coordinate many changing factors. (Additional duties may be assigned)
- Excellent communication skills to relay information clearly to drivers, customers, and co-workers.
- Analytical skills to problem-solve, resolve, and coordinate difficult situations in a calm and professional manner,
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong mathematical skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills to relay information clearly to all involved parties
- Ability to stay calm in fast-paced situations and always maintain the code of conduct.
Requirements
- Experience in customer service will be appreciated
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
