Position Title: Phlebotomist - VHCMG, West Alexandria
Job Description
The Phlebotomist-VHCMG performs phlebotomy and general lab-related duties within the medical practice setting. The position also includes administrative and practice support tasks. The ideal candidate will have experience with point-of-care (POC) testing, excellent communication skills. While staff is assigned a home site, they may be requested to provide coverage at other office sites if needed.
Education --------
High school diploma or equivalent is required.
Experience ---------
One year of healthcare/medical-phlebotomy experience is required. Completion of a certified phlebotomy training program is preferred. One year of hospital experience is preferred. Computer experience is preferred.
Certification/Licensure ----------------------
Phlebotomy certification (CPT or equivalent) is preferred.
