Job Summary
We are seeking a Bi-lingual Phlebotomist  ( English/Spanish) to join our team. In this role, you will collect blood, tissue, and fluid samples from patients. This is a role that can make a significant impact on people’s lives, helping them identify underlying conditions and stay healthy.
 
Responsibilities 

• Prioritize requests for sample collection based on urgency
• Determine the correct venipuncture method for each patient
• Provide patients with reassurance during the collection process
• Use sterilized needles, vials, and other equipment to draw blood
• Correctly label samples and send them for testing
• Administer Vaccine to Pediatric Patients.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician
• Phlebotomy diploma or Medical Assistant preferred
• Knowledge of best practices in patient identification methods
• Familiarity with the legal requirements regarding blood draws and fluid samples
• Strong computer and data entry skills
