Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist role in Mount Kisco, NY location to support our client in a Healthcare Setting. This is a temporary assignment opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!
Title - Phlebotomist
Location - Mount Kisco, NY
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 9:30 AM-6:00 PM; rotational Saturdays, 8:00 AM-1:00 PM
Interview Process: In-person interview with the direct supervisor
Pay -$21 to $23/ hr on W2
Key Responsibilities
Perform venipuncture and blood collection procedures for patients across all age groups, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
Verify patient identifiers and ensure accurate specimen labeling and barcoding.
Process laboratory specimens according to established protocols, including:
Centrifuging samples
Pouring off specimens when required
Accessioning laboratory samples
Creating packing lists
Packaging specimens for shipment to reference laboratories at appropriate temperatures
Maintain compliance with all laboratory Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Adhere to OSHA regulations and all PPE and safety guidelines.
Provide professional and compassionate patient care during specimen collection.
Support laboratory operations and assist with coverage at local draw stations when needed.
Maintain accurate documentation and ensure specimen integrity throughout the testing process.
