This employee responds to and/or initiates incoming/outgoing customer inquiries, using company resources, policies, and procedures to provide complete and accurate data.

    • Uses appropriate technologies and follows processes in accordance with company standards to ensure patient contact is handled with accuracy and operational effectiveness
      • Obtains prescriptions and other medical documents from providers for new and/or renewal customers

      Job Responsibilities:

        • Facilitates customer needs to utilize company's products or services by adequately assessing customer qualification, thoroughly explaining product/services benefits, and assisting with physician communication as necessary
          • Discusses company's products and services with providers, nurses, and customers
            • Educates providers and nurses on Nebulizer machines and meds
              • Submits required documentation to physician office for completion of sales/reimbursement requirements
                • Secures prescriptions, CMNs, and medical documents for customers, including special projects
                  • Reviews medical records merges all prescriptions and medical documentation for RPh approval
                    • Responsible for entry of prescriptions and final review of all completed orders
                      • Corrects rejected orders from RPh and resolves customer concerns by providing appropriate information regarding products and services
                        • Records customer information and maintains database by obtaining, entering, and verifying required data
                          • Ensures quality service by following departmental and company policies, procedures, and standards as well as adhering to compliance policies, procedures, and standards
                            • Facilitates process by communicating/sharing information with appropriate internal and external contacts
                              • Provides customer follow-up as required
                                • Contributes to departmental objectives by accomplishing required production goals and sales results
                                  • Maintains an acceptable level of new starts and approved orders
                                    • Accurately records all shipments and orders
                                      • Ensures quality service by following departmental and company policies, procedures, and standards



    • Strong phone and computer etiquette
      • Strong verbal and written communication and skills
        • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
          • Adequate typing skills (30wpm)

          Education and Experience:

            • Graduate from an accredited high school or equivalent
              • Medical industry knowledge beneficial
                • Must have prior computer experience
                  • Minimum of one-year clerical/office experience
                    • Have Missouri Pharmacy Technician License or can obtain one in the requested timeframe

                    Physical Demands:

                    The employee may frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
