Position Summary
The Salvation Army Rochester Corps is committed to "Doing the Most Good" by providing holistic person-centered services to individuals and families. In addition to worship services and pastoral care, services include short and long-term case management assistance with food, clothing, utility, and rent, housing, dental, and medical services, and connections to community partners.
The Pharmacy Technician supports the work of the Good Samaritan Free Clinic by assisting in the safe and accurate preparation, distribution, and documentation of medications for patients with limited or no health insurance. This position collaborates with medical staff, patients, and volunteers to maintain proper inventory, ensure compliance with applicable regulations, and provide administrative support for pharmacy-related services.

Education and Experience -------------------------
Must be registered as a Pharmacy Technician in the state of Minnesota and have completed a state-approved training program. Must meet all state and federal eligibility requirements for pharmacy technician registration. Must successfully pass background checks.

Working Conditions -------------------
Requires varying work hours during the week, including one evening shift per month. Regular exposure to hazardous substances in compliance with safety protocols. Work involves a combination of desk-based tasks and active duties, including prolonged periods of sitting or standing. Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds occasionally. Work is performed on-site in a clinical setting.
