Pharmacy Technician 2 Compensation
• The pay for this position is $21.60 per hour (requires 2 years of pharmacy technician experience AND active Texas licensure/certification)
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates
Pharmacy Technician 2 Highlights

Available Schedules:
• 3 openings: Sun–Tue & Fri | 2:30pm–12:30am (Off Wed/Thu/Sat)
• 2 openings: Sun/Mon/Wed/Fri | 2:30pm–12:30am (Off Tue/Thu/Sat)
• 3 openings: Sun–Thu | 10:00pm–6:00am (Off Fri/Sat)
Pharmacy Technician 2 Responsibilities
• Process new patient registration and enter prescription information using Walgreens data entry procedures
• Enter refill orders, troubleshoot missing information, and interpret SIG codes
• Run automated machinery, sort medications, transition inventory through workflow stages
• Count and fill prescriptions, affix labels, pack and ship orders
• Maintain cleanliness and assist in maintaining machinery and a safe work area
• Resolve third-party rejects and resubmit claims as needed
• Assist Pharmacists and escalate issues to senior team members
• Must obtain and maintain active technician license/certification within 90 days
Pharmacy Technician 2 Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English
• Basic computer skills and internet navigation skills
• Intermediate keyboarding skills (25 WPM minimum)
• Ability to push, pull, grasp, and lift up to 50 lbs (with or without accommodation)
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule
• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Pharmacy Technician 2 Preferences
• PTCB or ExCPT certification
• 2+ years pharmacy technician experience in retail, fulfillment, or call center pharmacy environments
• Prior customer service experience
