Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities

• Prepare and compound sterile medications under pharmacist supervision
• Follow cleanroom procedures and aseptic techniques
• Perform dosage calculations and measure ingredients accurately
• Label, package, and prepare medications for dispensing
• Inspect compounded products for accuracy and quality
• Maintain inventory and organize pharmacy supplies
• Clean and sanitize cleanroom work areas and equipment
• Monitor and document temperatures, environmental logs, and maintenance records
• Assist with equipment checks and routine calibration
• Support training and onboarding of new pharmacy technicians
• Maintain compliance with pharmacy policies and regulatory requirements

Additional Skills & Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum of 2 years of pharmacy technician experience.

Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT)

Must be licensed or registered (if required by the state)

Previous sterile compounding or IV preparation experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures

Comfortable working in a cleanroom environment

Basic math and pharmaceutical calculation skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Experience with pharmacy documentation and recordkeeping

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Milford, OH.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $26.00/hr.
