Pharmacy Technician (Contract-to-Hire)

Schedule: 4-Day, 10-Hour Shifts (Overtime Possible)

Schedule Details

  • Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday: 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM
  • Saturday: 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Position Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join a fast-paced Central Fill pharmacy team in Memphis, TN. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity offering stability, consistent hours, and the potential for long-term employment.

In this role, you will support pharmacists in medication preparation, inventory management, and pharmacy operations while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in a high-volume environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications
  • Perform manual prescription entry and medication picking
  • Operate automated sorting and counting equipment
  • Fill bottles and cells with prescribed tablets and capsules
  • Apply prescription labels to bottles and packaging
  • Pack and prepare medications for distribution
  • Receive, stock, and store incoming pharmacy supplies
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry
  • Count stock and replenish shelves as needed
  • Clean equipment and complete required documentation
  • Support overall pharmacy workflow and operational efficiency

Minimum Requirements

  • 1+ year of pharmacy operations experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Active Tennessee State Pharmacy Technician License (Required)
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking
  • Reliable transportation
