About the Position:
Harris Health System is seeking a Registered Pharmacy Technician II This role is responsible for preparing and dispensing medications under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist while ensuring high standards of patient care, safety, and satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and dispense prescribed medications under pharmacist supervision

  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations and pharmacy protocols

  • Maintain accuracy in medication labeling, packaging, and documentation

  • Provide excellent patient service and support interdisciplinary care teams

  • Adapt quickly to various pharmacy environments and team dynamics


Requirements:
Education:

  • High School Diploma or GED

Licensure & Certifications:

  • Registered with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy

  • PTCB Certification preferred

Skills & Proficiencies:

  • Competence in computer use, mathematics, and medical terminology

  • Strong adaptability and flexibility to travel to different sites

  • Excellent communication skills

Work Schedule:

  • Includes weekends, holidays and flexible hours
