We are seeking detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician II to support prescription processing and pharmacy operations in a high-volume, remote environment. This role focuses heavily on data entry, prescription validation, and coordination with healthcare providers to ensure accurate and timely medication fulfillment.
Key Responsibilities
Accurately enter and process prescription orders received from providers
Perform high-volume data entry and manage refill requests
Contact physicians for prescription clarifications and refill approvals
Prepare, count, label, and package medications for pharmacist verification
Maintain prescription logs and ensure documentation accuracy
Support inventory management including stock checks and reporting
Ensure compliance with HIPAA and all regulatory standards
Assist with pharmacy logs (temperature, cleaning, calibration, etc.)
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure workflow efficiency
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent
2+ years of Pharmacy Technician or relevant healthcare experience
Active Pharmacy Technician License (state-specific requirement)
Strong knowledge of:
Pharmacy terminology
Dosage calculations
Excellent data entry and computer skills
Strong communication skills (especially phone-based provider interaction)
Preferred Qualifications
Pharmacy Technician Certification (CPhT)
Experience with prior authorization, insurance processing, or medical billing
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
