What You"ll Do

As a key member of the pharmacy operations team, you"ll help ensure patients receive their medications accurately, safely, and on time.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and fill prescription orders with precision for pharmacist verification.
  • Label, package, and document medications according to pharmacy guidelines.
  • Assist with packing and shipping completed prescription orders to patients.
  • Manage inventory by stocking, organizing, and monitoring medication supplies.
  • Operate automated dispensing equipment and pharmacy technology systems.
  • Replenish workstation materials, including vials, labels, caps, and packaging supplies.
  • Support daily production goals while maintaining exceptional quality and accuracy.
  • Follow all pharmacy regulations, state board requirements, and company policies.
  • Perform physical activities such as walking, lifting, and handling pharmacy supplies.
  • Collaborate with pharmacy technicians, pharmacists, and leadership to ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Participate in occasional overtime and scheduled Saturday rotations when needed to support patient demand.

What We"re Looking For

Required Qualifications

  • Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB/CPhT or equivalent).
  • Current North Carolina Board of Pharmacy (NCBOP) registration/license.
  • Previous Pharmacy Technician experience in retail, mail-order, hospital, specialty, or healthcare settings.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
  • Comfortable standing, walking, and performing light lifting throughout the shift.
  • Flexibility to work occasional overtime and rotating Saturdays.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with inventory management and pharmacy workflow systems.
  • Knowledge of automated dispensing technology and pharmacy machinery.
  • Experience in retail, specialty, compounding, fulfillment, or healthcare pharmacy environments.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Self-starter with a positive attitude and team-first mindset.

Work Environment

This position is based in our pharmacy facility in Charlotte, NC, where you"ll join a team of approximately 21 Pharmacy Technicians working alongside pharmacy leadership to process and fulfill a high volume of prescription orders.

This is an active role ideal for candidates who enjoy staying busy, working with technology, and contributing to a mission-driven healthcare environment. You"ll spend time operating pharmacy equipment, managing inventory, and moving throughout the facility while helping ensure patients receive their medications safely and efficiently.

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.50/hr.
