The Pharmacy Supervisor oversees daily pharmacy operations to ensure safe, accurate, and efficient patient care with respect to pharmacy services. This role supervises pharmacy staff, supports compliance with laws and regulations, and helps maintain high standards of patient care and customer service.

SUPERVISOR RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Cost Awareness: Contributes to the development of departmental budget. Ensures that budgetary concerns are communicated to Manager as needed.
2. Employee Performance: Identifies performance expectations and ensures that employees understand and are held accountable to those expectations. Assesses employee performance in a timely manner and works with employees to resolve performance issues. Takes timely and appropriate disciplinary actions. Acknowledges employee accomplishments. Writing and delivering Performance Appraisals.
3. Organizational Policies: Communicates and enforces Waverly Health Center policies. With the Manager develops policies and procedures essential to the operation of the department in compliance with regulatory requirements.
4. Staffing: Creates and maintains departmental job descriptions with department Manager. Collaborates with Manager to build a team with diverse skills and strengths by selecting the best candidate for each position. Develops effective staffing patterns to meet departmental needs.
